Consultations

Consultations are one-to-one, non-judgemental, and are completely confidential.

First consultation

Before the first consultation, you will be asked to complete a health and dietary questionnaire.

During the first consultation, I will take your comprehensive client history for which you will be asked a number of different questions about your medical history, past and present diet and lifestyle. After our first consultation, I will analyse and interpret all the information that you have given me, review the latest scientific research relevant to your case, and check any potential drug-nutrient interactions or contra-indications. I will also prepare a number of possible recommendations to discuss with you at the second consultation.

Second consultation

During our second consultation, I will begin by explaining to you the potential underlying causes of your health concerns, after which I will discuss a number of possible recommendations with you. Together we will agree upon a realistic nutritional therapy programme, tailored to your needs, your food preferences, lifestyle and individual situation. I understand that some people have very little time to cook and that others enjoy trying out new recipes, therefore I shall take this into account when giving you practical suggestions.

Follow-up consultations

Regular follow-up consultations, at four to six week intervals, are recommended to discuss your progress, to make any necessary adjustments to your nutritional therapy programme and to give you further support and encouragement. How quickly you feel an improvement in your health will depend on how committed you are to implementing changes and also how long you have had any health concerns.
