Dietary analysis
Dietary Analysis will give you an indication as to whether your diet is providing a healthy balance of all the essential nutrients required by the body. You will be asked to keep a detailed and accurate food diary over a period of several days, from which a report will be produced of your diet, including vitamin, mineral, protein, carbohydrate, fat and calorie content.
A dietary analysis will:
• Clarify the strengths and weaknesses of your current diet
• Identify possible nutrient imbalances or deficiencies
Dietary analysis may be carried out on its own or in conjunction with a nutritional therapy consultation. However, if it is carried out on its own, the report will only be informative as I can only give dietary advice after taking a comprehensive client history.
